SUNDAY, DEC 8TH---PACKING DAY

         Welcome to my cruise blog.  So excited to be heading back to MS Mariner as have not been on a ship since the christening cruise of MS Grandeur almost exactly a year ago.  Regent Seven Seas Cruises has another new ship, MS Prestige, to come out and be christened the end of 2026.  Because of our "Diamond" status (over 1000 nights on Regent), we will be invited to that christening also.  Yes, there will be a blog!

        This should be a very easy pack as only on the ship for 7 nights.  So we will be taking only two suitcases that we will be checking for the flight plus our normal two carry-ons.  When we pack for a four month world cruise we take eight suitcases weighing 50 pounds each!  

        Only took a couple hours but done by noon.  There will probably be some last minute additions, as always.  AND we probably forgot something, as always.

        My next post will hopefully be Tuesday evening after we arrive at the Miami Hilton.  Our long time, good friend, Jane Van Harlingen, is also booked on the cruise and going with us.  She will pick us up Tuesday morning at 8:00.  I want to be at The Parking Spot North by 8:30.  Our American Airlines flight from DFW departs at 10:15 and is to arrive MIA at 2:30pm.  More about all this in the next post.
